My Favorite Spring Treats to Share
Simple spring desserts for brunches, gatherings, and Mother’s Day.
This time of year always seems to bring a few lovely reasons to bake — Mother’s Day, spring brunches, afternoon teas, showers, book clubs, and the first easy gatherings of the season.
And on a busy week, I’m especially drawn to recipes that are simple, pretty, and easy to share. The kind of treat you can tuck onto a brunch table, bring to a potluck, serve with tea, or make ahead for a weekend dessert.
Here are a few spring favorites from 31Daily:

Berry Trifle with Pound Cake and Chantilly Cream
A beautiful make-ahead dessert layered with berries, pound cake, and soft Chantilly cream. It’s one of my favorite spring and summer desserts for holidays, gatherings, and afternoon tea.
Mini Lemon Pudding Cakes
Bright, sunny, and just the right size, these little lemon cakes bake into a tender cake with a soft pudding-like layer underneath. They’re lovely for spring dinners, Mother’s Day, or anytime lemon sounds good.
Strawberry Bread
A simple, tender quick bread made for strawberry season. It’s easy enough for a weekday bake but pretty enough for brunch, gifting, or serving with a cup of tea.
Mini Bakewell Tarts
These sweet little almond tarts are one of my favorite teatime treats. They feel special but are simple to make, with a tender crust, jam, and almond filling.
